I had upperclassmen who helped me a lot when I was new, and I want to be that person for someone else!

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering Students?
Don’t be scared to ask questions. Everyone’s figuring it out, and there’s always someone who wants to help, just reach out!

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you think new students should know about?
Society of Women Engineers (SWE), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and the Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) Peer Mentor Program!!
