What motivated you to become a ClarkLEADER?
As a former new student, I was once very nervous and unsure about my future as a UMD engineer. Now, I'd like to share my experiences with incoming students who also might have the same feelings.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering Students?
Don't be afraid to ask for help! Office hours are a great time and place to ask questions and meet new people.

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you think new students should know about?
I highly recommend UMD's Gamer Symphony Orchestra (GSO). I've met a lot of great people there and being apart of its choir is my way to destress.

If you attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, what did you enjoy most about the event?
I enjoyed interacting with the peers and mentor at my table the most. Hearing their experiences and similarities with me helped me feel less anxious.
