I love talking to incoming students about my personal experience and journey as an engineer, researcher, and student at UMD. I wish i had someone to give me insightful advice when i was a freshman so i want to give what i wasn't fully able to have

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering Students?
Go outside! Do extracurricular activities and find new hobbies you love. College is not just about school and academics, but a time of self discovery as well!

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you think new students should know about?
East African Student Union, Black Student Union, and Black Engineering Society (BES).

If you attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, what did you enjoy most about the event?
I enjoyed talking with everyone around me.
