The opportunity to provide incoming engineers with the knowledge and connections I wish I had when entering UMD.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering Students?
Try new things! Even if you don't think you're the right kind of person always put yourself out there. You never know what opportunity you might get or what friends you will make!

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you think new students should know about?
Go to the club fair, try rushing an engineering frat. Even if you don't get in you'll still make friends through the experience. STUDY ABROAD!! There's a lot of 1-2 week study abroad opportunities that you can apply for scholarship for.
