Becoming more involved on campus and within its engineering community.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering Students?
Don’t be afraid to ask questions and familiarize yourself with new surroundings. Have fun and take advantage of the time you have at UMD.

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you think new students should know about?
The different engineering clubs on campus is great to help grow connections and meet new people.

If you attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, what did you enjoy most about the event?
I enjoyed meeting the people at my table and becoming familiar with who they are as a person.
