What motivated you to become a ClarkLEADER?
The opportunity to welcome and guide incoming, inspiring engineers was something I wanted to do, as when I first came in as a freshman, seeing how my upperclassmen worked motivated me to pursue my engineering career more. Being able to motivate first-year students to continue a path as an engineer and reassure them they are going to do great and be a great addition to the Clark School is something that I'd take great pride in.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering Students?
Try to be on top of all your work efficiently and on time. Whether you have to set reminders or have a set schedule is key. But more importantly, never be afraid to go to office hours, whether it's for your professor or TA, as they are always there to help and help you succeed and improve as a student.

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you think new students should know about?
Balloon Payloads Program, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), and Terrapin Rocket Team.

If you attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, what did you enjoy most about the event?
When I attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, I enjoyed talking to my peers at the table getting to know one another, and building new connections that were created.
