What motivated you to become a ClarkLEADER?
I wanted to share my experience joining the UMD community as a transfer student, and also sharing how to make meaningful connections with students and teachers.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering Students?
Joining a club or group on campus is the best way to make friends. It helps to have an activity outside of classes to take some stress away from classes and other responsibilities as a student.

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you think new students should know about?
Engineering students should definitely join Terps Racing. As a leadership member of the Baja team, I can thank Baja SAE for developing the skills I have now, career growth, and the friends I have made. Our team takes the knowledge developed in classes, and lets members apply it to real life design and manufacturing.
