What motivated you to become a ClarkLEADER?
I want to be a ClarkLEADER to help new students feel more confident going into their first semester. I'd also love to help them make their first friends at ClarkLEAD the same way I did.
What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering Students?
Get involved and try out clubs that interest you, especially in your first year
What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you think new students should know about?
Joining social clubs and major specific committees can really help you connect with the community and make new friends
If you attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, what did you enjoy most about the event?
I really enjoyed the part before the main conference where we got to learn more about our major and field. It was fun getting to know others before the rush of classes. Hearing people share both the highs and lows of their engineering experiences gave a balanced and honest glimpse into what lied ahead of me. it made me feel like no matter what happens, everyone finds a way to grow from those experiences.
