The A. James Clark School of Engineering annually recognizes undergraduates students for their outstanding excellence in academics, leadership, and service.

The 2026 Clark School Honors & Awards Ceremony will be held on the evening of May 5th in the Colony Ballroom, Stamp Student Union. A professional photographer will be on hand at the event and photos from the event can be viewed on this page following the event. Any questions regarding the event can be sent to Dr. Nicole Roop at nroop@umd.edu.
Check-in for the event begins at 4:30PM with the ceremony starting at 5PM. There will be drinks available throughout the evening, light fare before the ceremony, and hors d'oeuvres after. Dress is business professional. There is no designated parking for the event, but you can find parking near Stamp.
Our 2026 ceremonial program booklet lists our college-wide awardees and provides a brief biography on each student and will be available here following the event.
Five of our undergraduate students will be honored with Dean's Awards and presented by Dean Samuel Graham, Jr.
These awards are given to those students in the college who have demonstrated leadership and service to the Clark School of Engineering as evidenced by participation in activities that impact students in all engineering majors.
