Abstract: The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) is dramatically reshaping biomedical research and healthcare. In this seminar, I will highlight recent developments in next-generation AI systems, organized around three core pillars: generative AI, agentic AI, and trustworthy AI. I will present new frameworks for image super-resolution and cross-modal synthesis in cardiovascular imaging, enabling high-quality data generation beyond current hardware limitations. Additionally, I will introduce our agentic AI systems designed for proactive clinical dialogue and automated medical report generation. Finally, I will share our efforts to build robust and explainable models aimed at enhancing trust in AI-driven biomedical applications. Collectively, these directions outline a path toward more intelligent, autonomous, and reliable AI systems for the future of healthcare and life sciences.
