Climate Technology Founders Funs- Now Accepting Applications!
We’re excited to announce that applications are now open for the Climate Technology Founder’s Fund (CTFF)! This fund, established under Maryland legislation SB960, provides direct financial support to early-stage climate technology startups driving innovation and impact in the state. The CTFF is designed to bridge critical funding gaps and accelerate commercialization for Maryland-based startups working on solutions in clean energy, decarbonization, and related fields.
The fund will invest in startups with strong, experienced, and committed teams, market traction, and an innovative product, which is funding raising for matching capital. MEIA will also assess the climate and economic impacts of the venture while maintaining our commitment to the state to invest 40% of our funds in minority, women and veteran-owned businesses.
