Volunteer & Service Opportunities for Current Students | A. James Clark School of Engineering, University of Maryland
The Women in Engineering Program seeks to expose young women to hands-on engineering activities in order to increase their interest in pursuing work in the engineering field.  With this goal in mind, the Women in Engineering Program coordinates several programs that take place during the fall and spring semesters which provide opportunities for current students to volunteer:

KEYs to Empowering Youth is a science and technology mentoring program for girls in grades 6-8 designed to provide them with the opportunity to meet and work with women studying and working in science and engineering at the University of Maryland.

Girl Scout Engineering Saturday (GSES) is a program for local Girl Scout troops in Maryland and the Washington metropolitan area. Cadettes (grades 6-8) engage in fun hands-on activities and earn the Women in Engineering Girl Scout Engineering Saturday patch.

To volunteer with these programs, please submit a 2019 WIE Volunteer Form.
