What advice would you give other UMD engineering students seeking an internship or co-op position? My advice to UMD engineering students is to start early and make use of campus resources like career fairs, networking events, and faculty guidance. Customize your resume to highlight relevant skills and don’t hesitate to connect with alumni or professionals on LinkedIn for advice and opportunities. Be proactive during the application process and open to roles that challenge you. Once in an internship, take initiative, ask questions, and seek feedback—it’s a great chance to build both technical skills and professional relationships.
