Join us for our final Whiting-Turner lecture of the Spring 2018 semester! 

Dan Ennis is the Global Head of Advanced Threat Intelligence for BlueVoyant. Dan has over 36 years of US Government service, principally with the National Security Agency (NSA). Prior to his retirement from NSA in 2016, Dan was the Director of the Threat Operations Center (NTOC). Prior to becoming the NTOC Director, Dan served as the Assistant Deputy Director of Analysis and Production, providing overall management of the U.S. Signals intelligence analysis and production mission across all mission areas (transnational and geographic targets). Other senior positions held included Deputy Chief, NSA Tailored Access Operations, Chief, Transnational Targets (counter terrorism, counter proliferation, counter intelligence, narcotics and serious crimes, and weapons and space) and Chief, Office of Russia. Dan’s distinguished career with the U.S. Government began in 1979 with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Dan is the recipient of the Donovan Award. Dan also serves on the U.S. Department of Defense, Defense Science Board, Cyber Task Force. He is a Senior Fellow with the Center for International and Strategic Studies, and the Executive Director of the Cybersecurity Institute at the University of Maryland.
