Before coming to ExxonMobil Leonardo graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. During his time at UMD, he was involved with SHPE and was elected chapter president his senior year. Leonardo has continued with his involvement in SHPE in his professional career, joining SHPE Houston Professional Chapter as a Board Member. Leonardo is also actively involved in ExxonMobil's GOAL (Global Organization for the Advancement of Latinos) employee resource group.
