Wereley, Hubbard Named Fellows by Professional Society

Clark School aerospace engineering faculty members Norman Wereley and James Hubbard have been named fellows of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

"Election to AIAA Fellow grade is among the highest honors that can be bestowed upon an aerospace professional, chosen by peers in recognition of outstanding career accomplishments," said Mark Lewis, Clark School chair of aerospace engineering. "This is truly wonderful news for Jim and Norm, and for our entire department."

According to the AIAA web site, the distinction of fellow is conferred upon those members of the Institute who have made notable and valuable contributions to the arts, sciences, or technology of aeronautics and astronautics.
