Useful ASME Resources
Are you graduating this semester? Be sure to order your cords to wear during graduation to represent your membership and contribution to ASME! Be sure to fill out the form and turn it in to the current chair of the student section. Also, note the due dates to insure you get them on time!
Do you use CAD software for your classes? Be sure to sign up with Autodesk and receive 36 months use of free software! Just go here and register then select the software you would like to download. Autodesk Inventor is the main one students prefer to use, which can be downloaded. All the software are full versions and do not have any limitations on them. Below are various resources that we think would be helpful for our mechanical engineering student members. Prospective Students: Why Mechanical Engineering? Frequently asked questions and course map for ME. Plan your routes around campus with this map! Sign up to get UMD alerts to stay up to date with whats happening on campus. Want to go to a sports event? Get your free tickets here. Use engineering software remotely with the virtual computer lab. Check to make sure campus is open on those bad weather days.
