WIE Mini-grants for Student Organization Events | A. James Clark School of Engineering, University of Maryland
Student organizations campus-wide may apply for up to $500 in funding per semester for an event, initiative, or program that they are running.  Applications must include an itemized budget of how this funding will be used, as well as a paragraph describing how the use of this money will promote and encourage individuals who are underrepresented in engineering. Initial awards will be determined based on organizations who have submitted applications by the priority deadline. If funding still exists after the initial offering, additional funds may be awarded on a rolling basis. Applications for funding will be reviewed by the Women in Engineering's Student Advisory Board (WIESAB) and WIE staff members.
Please Note: Organizations who accept a mini-grant from the Women in Engineering Program will be required to adhere to specific requirements that we will be clearly explained by WIE as part of the mini-grant award information.
Priority Deadline: Monday, February 24, 2020 at noon
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis following the priority deadline based on availability of funds.  Student organizations will be notified of funding by Monday, March 9th.
