Engineers Night Out (ENO) is a series of monthly, Friday evening programs that highlight different disciplines of engineering for girls in grades 6-8.  Participants will have the opportunity to meet and collaborate with women studying and working in engineering at the University of Maryland. The ENO program provides interactive, hands-on activities that stress the importance of engineering, science, technology, and their impact on society.

All ENO events will take place from 5:15 pm - 8:15 pm. Pizza dinner will be provided. 

Fall 2019 Engineers Night Out Dates Include:

  • Friday, October 18th: Focus on mechanical engineering
  • Friday, November 15th: Focus on fire protection engineering
  • Friday, December 6th: Focus on electrical engineering

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Space in the program is limited, so please be aware that successful submission of the application does not guarantee a spot in the program. WIE will not accept participants after the registration window is closed if they are not already on the waiting list, nor will WIE accept registrants on site the day of the event. 

The registration fee is $10.00 per ENO program for each registered participant, which must be submitted online once regsitration is complete to secure a spot. 

Registration fees include a pizza dinner and all program materials. 

All ENO programs will be hosted on the University of Maryland, College Park's campus.
 
Specific location, pick-up, and drop-off information will be sent the week before each program.
