Susan D. Sidebottom and William J. Sidebottom established this scholarship to support juniors and seniors enrolled in STEM majors in the Clark School of Engineering and the College of Computer, Mathematical and Natural Sciences at UMD. Awards are ade in consideration of advancing gender parity in the sciences on the basis of merit and need, as demonstrated by the FAFSA. Recipients shall have a minimum gpa of 3.0 and the award is renewable.

The Office of Student Financial Aid determines the recipient of this scholarship in consultation with the College of CMNS and the Clark School of Engineering.
