Sonal B. and Ashish S. Deshpande established this scholarship to support need-based scholarships for students in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Maryland. Preference is for students who are graduates of a public high school in Baltimore City.
This is a need-based scholarship, under the auspices of the TerpStart Matching Scholarship Program, for undergraduate students enrolled at the University and in the Clark School of Engineering.
