Descriptions:

Sonal B. and Ashish S. Deshpande established this scholarship to support need-based scholarships for students in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Maryland. Preference is for students who are graduates of a public high school in Baltimore City.

This is a need-based scholarship, under the auspices of the TerpStart Matching Scholarship Program, for undergraduate students enrolled at the University and in the Clark School of Engineering.

Freshmen Sophomore Junior Senior Undergraduate

Other eligibility requirements:

Students enrolled in Electrical and Computer Engineering; preference for students who are graduates of public high schools in Baltimore City; renewable; based on satisfactory academic progress and financial need
