Reliance Fire Protection is a full service fire protection contractor based in Baltimore, MD servicing Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and the District of Columbia. To be eligible for the Reliance Fire Protection Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

 Pursuing a degree in either the bachelor’s or master’s degree program in the Fire Protection Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park

 Demonstrate need for financial assistance

 Individual determination to succeed

 Preference for an individual interested in working in the construction industry

 Preference for Veterans

 Preference for women in construction

 No specific hometown region is required
