This scholarship is in honor of Keith G. Regan, a resident of Baltimore, MD, and a graduate of Baltimore Polytechnic Institute. After graduating with honors from UMD, he graduated from Cornell University at the age of 20. Mr. Regan's innovations in satellite communications earned him an international reputation. The scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students enrolled in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering on the basis of demonstrated financial need. Recipients shall be dedicated and hard-working students who, without support, would need to seek part-time or full-time employment.
