Descriptions:

The K. Deane Groves Chemical Engineering Fund shall be used to provide the K. Deane Groves Scholarships to qualified students from Maryland enrolled in the Chemical Engineering Program at the University of Maryland College Park. The awards shall be full-tuition scholarships for undergraduate students with potential for success in Chemical Engineering and energy-related fields

Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering

Class standing:

Freshmen Sophomore Junior Senior Undergraduate

Other eligibility requirements:

Students from Maryland enrolled in the Chemical Engineering Program at the University of Maryland College Park. The awards shall be full-tuition scholarships for undergraduate students with potential for success in Chemical Engineering and energy-related fields. Preferences shall be given to well-rounded students with potential for success rather than those with the high scholastic achievement alone. Preferences shall be given to Maryland students in the following order of preference: 1) Qualified graduates of Kent County High School 2) Qualified graduates from the Eastern Shore of Maryland 3) Qualified graduates from other locations in Maryland
