What Made You Decide to Attend UMD?
I attended a few overnight programs before coming to UMD and I met a lot of students from a multitude of majors. Every person I met made me feel welcome. After doing some research about engineering I knew that it was the major for me and that the program at Maryland was a perfect fit for me.
Best Experience with a Class or Project:
In the Introduction to Engineering Design there are a few presentations to present your ideas and progress on the class project. My group did not perform exceedingly well on the first presentation, however, our group decided to attend presentation classes. It was a fun experience as well as educational, but it certainly brought my group together. Needless to say on the next presentations my group rocked it!
