What Made You Decide to Attend UMD?
A part of me has always knew I wanted to attend UMD. When I was applying to college, many other schools caught my attention. However, UMD remained the star because of the Clark school. It’s high ranking and them having the exact track I wish to pursue in the future solidified my choice to come here.
Best Experience with a Class or Project
My best experience was ENES 100 when my group and I had to design and 3D print a device that sensed when the perfect time was to lift a tea bag out of cup to make the perfect cup of tea.
Favorite Class In Major
ENES 100: Introduction to Engineering Design
Favorite Class Out of Major
AASP 202: Black Culture in the United States and RELS 170: Greek and Roman Mythology

I am the Vice President of the Students Towards Educational Progress and Philanthropy (STEPP) Team
I am also a member of the Black Engineers Society
Favorite On-Campus Event

Favorite Research or Study Abroad Experiences
I have no research or study abroad experiences
Cool Engineering Experience
A cool engineering experience was when I was in middle school and I had to build and underwater motor vehicle and raced with my classmates. This project is what sparked my interest and love for engineering.
