What Made You Decide to Attend UMD?
I choose to attend UMD for its excellence in aerospace engineering, the abundance of employment opportunities in the surrounding area, and competitive price due to scholarship.

Best Experience with a Class or Project
Engineering, constructing, and destructively testing a truss in ENES201, Mechanics I, was my first opportunity to implement engineering principles. It really showed me how it works and how cool and fascinating it is.

Favorite Class In Major
ENAE283: Introduction of Aerospace Systems

Favorite Class Out of Major
ENEE244: Digital Logic Design

Student Organizations/Extracurricular Activities
Cru, AIAA, Terrafins, Peer Mentoring, Research at SSL

Favorite On-Campus Event
Bitcamp, the annual 36hr. hackathon at UMD

Favorite Research or Study Abroad Experiences
I work in the Space Systems Laboratory where we do research focused on space robotics and human factors. One of my favorite projects there is developing an end effector that responds to force for one of our robots.

Cool Engineering Experience
I worked as a test engineering intern for a company that manufactures tubing and assemblies for biopharmaceutical processes. It was really cool to see how industry works and how high the standard can be for some industries.
