What Made You Decide to Attend UMD?
I love the diversity of UMD, both in its people and opportunities. Terps come from all different backgrounds and UMD gives me the opportunity to meet new people with diverse cultures and experiences. There are also so many opportunities to get involved at UMD in different ways from sports to culture clubs, major based activities, Greek life and more.

Best Experience with a Class or Project
For my teams ENES100 project we attempted to use a very elaborate gear and sprocket system for our project. For some reason, the responsibility to make that work fell to me. After about a month of designing and CAD work and 3D printing, I finally was able to see it function. One of my proudest moments in engineering, and it came in my second semester!

Favorite Class

Cool Engineering Experience
My bike I use on campus is my ongoing engineering project. I've learned so much about the functioning and upkeep of a bike as a Terp trying to maintain my main form of transportation.
