What Made You Decide to Attend UMD?
I decided to attend UMD because of the highly ranked engineering programs and the proximity to Washington D.C. I love attending a big school where there are so many opportunities to get involved in clubs and research!

Best Experience with a Class or Project
My best experience was in ENES472: International Business Cultures in Engineering and Technology. I took this class in Sydney, Australia and had so much fun learning about engineering companies in another country!

Favorite Class
ENEE205: Electric Circuits

Favorite Class Out of Major
GVPT200: International Political Relations

Student Organizations/Extracurricular Activities
On campus I am involved in Alpha Omega Epsilon, the half professional, half social STEM sorority, and I currently serve as the philanthropy chair! Additionally, I am a member of University Christian Outreach and the Public Leadership College Park Scholars program.

Favorite On-Campus Event
I love attending all the sporting events at UMD, especially basketball and baseball!

Favorite Research or Study Abroad Experiences
During January 2020, I spent three weeks studying abroad in Sydney, Australia. I took ENES472: International Business Cultures in Engineering and Technology, and had the opportunity to learn about how culture impacts how people do business. While in Australia, I watched an opera in the Sydney Opera House and snorkeled the Great Barrier Reef!

Cool Engineering Experience
My freshman year, I was sponsored to attend TreeHacks, a hackathon at Stanford University in California. I got to work on a project and attend talks given by executives from companies including Disney and Apple!
