Come tour the Robotics Realization Lab and watch an exciting student robot competition!

The Maryland Robotics Center is the organizer and sponsor of the Indoor Navigation and Target Search Challenge, an autonomous robotics competition. Student teams from the University of Maryland have designed and built mobile robotic platforms that can navigate through a cluttered environment to find objects and move them to a specified location.

Targets vary in complexity of recognition and size, and also vary in terms of awarded points. To earn points, the found targets must be delivered to a specified location. Extra points will be awarded for accomplishing the task within certain constraints.

Spend an exciting few hours at the Maryland Robotics Center's Robotics Realization Lab. Prizes will be awarded to the top two teams!

Directions: 8223 Paint Branch Drive, College Park, MD 20742. We're just inside the rear of the Engineering Annex Building at this address.
