The National Weather Service is coming to campus to teach a free class on the basics of storm spotting and severe weather safety.  The Basics I class covers the basics of how to detect severe weather conditions that lead to things like thunderstorm supercells and tornadoes, what to do in an emergency, and what to report to the National Weather Service. At the end of the class, you can sign up to become a volunteer storm spotter, but only if you want to.  If you want to attend, then please register online at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/skywarn-basics-prince-georges-county-tickets-44078487944
