Compromise and collaboration seem to be a disappearing skill set in today’s world. Polarizing topics divide us rather than bring us together. At Textron, finding a way to reach compromise and the ability to collaborate across silos is paramount to our success. This talk will explore leadership requirements to bring people together to solve and succeed in the marketplace, and how to utilize these skills in other areas as well.
Ms. Atherton was appointed president and chief executive officer of our Textron Systems segment in June 2017. She has a master’s from the College of William and Mary and a bachelor’s in legal studies from the United States Air Force Academy.
Textron’s businesses provide innovative solutions to the defense, aerospace, and general aviation markets.
