Descriptions:

Established by Edward Systems Technology, Inc., this undergraduate fire detection scholarship provides financial aid to support the academic expenses of a first or second year undergraduate student. The award is based on the student's academic performance and demonstrated fire protection engineering interest. The award provides a maximum of $6,000 toward the student's academic expenses to Maryland or out-of-state students.

Financial need. Preference to incoming first year or early transfer to Fire Protection Engineering. Superior academic potential and/or high school GPA/college GPA, SAT scores.
