Descriptions:

The Brent Sherwood Space Architecture Endowed Undergraduate Research Award in Engineering will provide support for undergraduate students in the A. James Clark School of Engineering who are conducting research in the field of space architecture, defined by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) as “the theory and practice of designing and building inhabited environments for use in space.” Funds may be used for, but not limited to individual students, student groups or competition teams. The chair of the Department of Aerospace Engineering or their designee(s) will administer the fund and select recipients.
