ARCS Foundation Scholarship | A. James Clark School of Engineering, University of Maryland


Established by the Achievement Rewards for College Scientists (ARCS) Foundation Metropolitan Washington Chapter to provide financial support to academically outstanding students majoring in the fields of natural science, medicine and engineering. Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic merit. 

Engineering majors:

Aerospace Engineering All Engineering Majors Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Civil and Environmental Engineering Electrical and Computer Engineering Fire Protection Engineering Fischell Department of Bioengineering Materials Science and Engineering Mechanical Engineering

Class standing:

Freshmen Sophomore Junior Senior Undergraduate

Other eligibility requirements:

Be a United States citizen; be enrolled in a full-time degree-granting program, majoring in fields of science, engineering or medical research; and have a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
