I decided to enter the world of engineering after a few internships at the Naval Surface Warfare Center. Two things (of many) that convinced me that the University of Maryland was the right place to start this journey were the University Honors Program and Inventis. Last semester, I was a Women in Engineering mentor for freshman female engineering students. This semester, I am a teaching fellow for Introduction to Engineering Design.  In my spare time, I like to read, listen to music, and play the piano.
