Jenna Bucci Jenna Bucci

Jenna directs the Office of Undergraduate Advising & Academic Support in the A. James Clark School of Engineering, and has worked in this office for over fifteen years.  Prior to being a TERP, Jenna worked for the Florida Gators and the West Virginia Mountaineers.  She received her Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from West Virginia University, and interestingly enough holds four certificates in coaching: football, wrestling, soccer, and gymnastics. 

With over 20 years of academic advising experience Jenna is committed to improving the student experience, and passionate about increasing sustainability efforts within the Clark School. Jenna has been a part of the Rainbow Terrapin Network since December 2008 and is married to Captain Gregory Bucci who works for the United States Department of the Army. “GO ARMY, BEAT NAVY!”

Mary Bell Mary Bell

Mary is the Associate Director in the Undergraduate Advising & Academic Support Office in the A. James Clark School of Engineering.  She received her B.A. in Radio, Television & Film from the University of Maryland & received her M.S. in Management Information Systems from the University of Maryland, University College.  Mary began working at the University of Maryland in 1993 and has worked in the Registrar’s Office, the Department of Communication and the Undergraduate Admissions Office prior to joining the Engineering School in 2015.  

While away from the office, Mary enjoys spending time with her husband & their two cats watching any type of sporting event. 

Rebecca Hosten Rebeca Hosten

Rebeca is the Academic Coordinator for the Office of Undergraduate Advising & Academic Support in the A. James Clark School of Engineering. Rebeca has worked for the Engineering School for twenty years. She has a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Management with a minor in Strategic and Entrepreneurial Management from the University of Maryland University College. She also has an Associate Degree in Interior Design from Montgomery College, a certificate in Bridal Consultant and Web Design.

In her spare time, Rebeca likes to spend time with her family, knitting, face painting, baking and decorating cakes, and traveling.

Shannon Bate Shannon Bate

Shannon is an Academic Advisor for the Office Undergraduate Advising & Academic Support in the A. James Clark School of Engineering.  Shannon received both her bachelor's degree, in History Secondary Education, and her master's degree, in Post Secondary Education, from Salisbury University.  She also received a master's certificate in Academic Advising from Kansas State University.  Shannon is a member of the National Education Honor's Society, Kappa Delta Pi.  Before joining the staff at the University of Maryland at College Park, Shannon served as an Academic Advisor at University of Maryland University College for three years.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends; attending and watching professional sports games; traveling and going to the beach; as well as, relaxing and good book.

Hailing from Pittsburgh, PA, Shannon Hayes is proud to call herself a "three-time" Terp!  First coming to UMD as an undergraduate student, she has been involved on campus as an Orientation Advisor, Writing Tutor, and Peer Advisor.  After she graduated with her B.A. in English Language and Literature, Shannon began working for the College of Education as an Academic Advisor.  During her time in the College of Education, Shannon completed her master's degree in Higher Education.  Now, in addition to serving as the Transfer Coordinator for Engineering, Shannon is also pursuing her third degree from UMD - a PhD in Higher Education.  When she isn't busy writing papers, Shannon enjoys cheering on her hometown sports teams and spending time with her family and friends.

Neela Wilson

Neela is currently pursuing her Master of Arts degree in Higher Education within the College of Education here at the University of Maryland, College Park. Neela received her B.S. degree in Business Management at Georgia Tech, and is glad that UMCP and Georgia Tech are no longer in the same athletic conference so she can root for both teams without feeling like a traitor. Prior to pursuing her degree and joining UA&AS as a Graduate Assistant, Neela worked 4 years supporting Clark School of Engineering students at the graduate level. In her free time, Neela enjoys running, playing/napping with her dogs, and laughing with family and friends.
