Whiting-Turner Lecture: "IP Video and the New Age of Entertainment" Clark School alumnus Brian Hinman, benefactor of the Hinman CEOs program and co-founder, president and CEO of 2Wire, will give the next Whiting-Turner lecture on April 7 at 3:30 p.m. in the Kim Engineering Building lecture hall immediately following the conclusion of the $50K Business Plan Competition. ISR 20th Anniversary The Institute for Systems Research is holding a combination scientific meeting and 20th anniversary celebration on April 14, at the Inn and Conference Center from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The program will celebrate ISR's history and achievements as well as look to future systems research challenges across a number of exciting areas. Alumni, Board of Visitors Member Honored at Black Engineer Gala Clark School Board of Visitors member Linda Gooden was named the National Black Engineer of the Year at the 20th Annual Black Engineer Conference. Kevin Greenaugh, Ph.D. '98 nuclear engineering, was named Black Engineer of the Year for achievement in government. At the same event, alumnus Rodney Bryant, B.S. '91 and M.S. '93 aerospace engineering, received the Outstanding Technical Contribution in Government Award. Alumni Notes Michael J. Nusca (B.S. '82, M.S. '86 and Ph.D. '97 aerospace engineering) received a best paper award from the JANNAF Liquid Propulsion Subcommittee. He is an aerospace engineer at the Army Research Laboratory at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md. Scott Roza (M.S. '90 mechanical engineering) has joined iConclude as vice president of marketing and business development. Steven Shapiro (ME '04) wrote an article for NYU's Real Estate Review and was featured in the Washington Business Journal in February. Norine Walker (B.A. '81 urban studies and B.S. '83 civil engineering) has received the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials' Trailblazer Award for her recent work on the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Project.
