Valuable Project Management Degrees Accredited

The Clark School's Project Management (PM) program can significantly increase your value to employers. Three of its graduate PM offerings—the Professional Master of Engineering in Project Management, Master of Science in Civil Engineering and Doctorate of Philosophy in Civil Engineering—have just become the first accredited engineering school-based PM degrees in the nation.

ODK Lecture by Norman Augustine

Norman R. Augustine, chairman of the Lockheed Martin Executive Committee and of the presidential advisory committee that produced the influential "Rising Above the Gathering Storm" report, will give the Omicron Delta Kappa Lessons in Leadership lecture on "What Makes a Leader?" on Wednesday, February 22, at 2 p.m. in the Colony Ballroom of the Student Union. All alumni are welcome to attend!

Alumni Notes

Harry D. Foster (B.S. '83 electrical engineering) has joined Mentor Graphics' Design Verification & Test Division as principal engineer.

Brenda Freeman (B.S. '87 chemical engineering and M.B.A. '91) has been named senior vice president of promotions marketing for Nickelodeon, the children's cable television network.

Jacqueline Reilly (B.S. '03 aerospace engineering) and Stephen Schmoll (B.S. '03 biological resources engineering) became engaged to be married on October 31, 2005. They are planning a wedding in November of 2006. Reilly is an aerospace engineer at A.I. Solutions Inc. and Schmoll is a pitcher for the New York Mets baseball team.

Brent Sherwood (M.S. '88 aerospace engineering) has joined NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory as assistant division manager for mission concept development in the Systems and Software Division.

The Clark School Mourns the Passing of...

We are sad to report the loss of Carl C. Domanski, B.S. '52 mechanical engineering, who passed away in January.
