Commencement The Clark School conferred more than 400 degrees on December 22 and hosted the first-ever school-wide commencement reception in the Jeong H. Kim Engineering Building. The reception was sponsored by the Engineering Alumni Chapter and all of the school's academic departments. Improving Life for Millions of PeopleClark School benefactor Robert E. Fischell and his family have donated $31 million to establish a bioengineering department and create an institute for research and development of biomedical devices. Terps Racing at the Washington Auto Show UM's formula and Baja racing vehicles will be one of the "Hot Displays" at the Washington, D.C. Auto Show at the Washington Convention Center, January 23-29. The Engineering Alumni Chapter is always seeking active members to take part in the chapter's board of directors and other UM Alumni Association activities. Order of the Engineer 2006 Ceremony The Order of the Engineer ceremony, presentation and reception will be held at 6:30 p.m., February 23, 2006, in the Jeong H. Kim Engineering Building.
